Our goal is to ensure that local youth are equipped with the necessary tools to be successful. With that same spirit Dare to Dream Scholarship Society, Inc. desires to offer the Champion's Scholarship and the Dreamer’s Scholarship to at least one student per year.
Valued at $2,500, the Golden Jumpstart Scholarship is intended to help students pursuing secondary education cover the costs of tuition and books.
To be considered for this scholarship you must:
· Be a current high school senior
· A minimum GPA of 3.0
· Accepted or enrolled in a post-secondary institution
· Write a 500 to 800 word essay on one of the topics provided below.
Valued at $1,000, the Silver Jumpstart Scholarship is intended to help students pursuing secondary education cover the costs of tuition and books.
Valued at $ 500, Ruby Jumpstart Scholarship is intended to help students pursuing secondary education cover the costs of tuition and books.
To be considered for this scholarship you must:
· Be a current high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0
· Accepted or Enrolled in a post-secondary institution
· Write a 500 to 800 word essay on each of the topics provided below:
Complete 3 Essay topics:
· 1) The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
· 2) Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.
3) Discuss how COVID-19 has impacted your educational journey or family dynamics. How have you been able to adjust and transcend? What barriers did you have to fight through?

The scholarship will be awarded during the month of April 2021 and applications must be submitted no later than December 31, 2020.
